Being a Stepmom: My AHA Moment

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

kathleen
Ladies: Here’s a very cool opportunity to drum up national support for stepmoms.

Mutual of Omaha ran a campaign over the summer called “Aha Moment” which featured real people sharing their real stories.

Among the top videos is a woman named Kathleen from Savannah, Georgia who married a man with children and was scared because she wanted to be a great stepmom. She realized that there is no manual and let her heart lead the way. Watch her video HERE

When you vote for Kathleen before October 15th, you increase the chances that her story will be selected for Mutual of Omaha’s 2010 TV ad campaign. (And just for the record, I’m not advertising for Mutual of Omaha. I’d just like to see a favorable stepmom story finally break into the mainstream.)

Check it out.
