I coasted in here today. I saw this and think it is a super fabulous idea and I live just outside of Austin. I am thinking to myself "I am so there" and then I see the date. I am getting married on August 8 in Las Vegas. We return on Saturday the 9th but I am still planning to attend this gathering for the last part....if that is going to be permitable. My husband doesn't really want to do stepmom bonding stuff -- he'll probably just be there to stay in the hotel room and explore Austin. But if there's a cocktail hour or general informal mingling opportunity where he'd fit in, he'd probably be up for that. (But if not, that's totally okay.)
